Our success came at the right time. Over the past decade, Cambodia’s economy has grown significantly and steadily around 7% every year. We have strong FDI flowing in, especially in the property sector. With our experience and lessons learnt over 30 years by working with international partners, in 2013 I felt it was the right time to build our own name, and our own brand as a Cambodian company, standing on our core values and principles.
By creating the CMED Group, we are uniting our subsidiary companies under a single philosophy and core belief, implementing the same high-quality management structure and systems. Since I started doing business, I had my own philosophy. I used it as the foundation of my business plan and strategy. There are three main principles: trust, innovation, and contribution to society. I am instilling these three principles within every CMED division.
With the right philosophy “trust, innovation and contribution to society”, we have earned trust from our long established partners and some of them have been working with us for more than 30 years. This is what enables us to grow our market share here, and I hope to build CMED’s reputation as a company that brings to Cambodian consumers the benefits of only the highest quality products and services.
Cambodia has just passed the early stage of development. The market still needs to learn about the value of quality and the value of good business practices. Good qualified local human resources and high professionalism is currently a major constraint. CMED’s core belief is a ‘shared destiny’ between the organisation and Cambodian society. I imagine one day ‘CMED’ will be synonymous with the words ‘trust’ and ‘quality’. I expect to build CMED to the point where it will become an internationally renowned Cambodian company.
CMED’s roadmap is thinking forward. With this vision, we have moved forward until today with 9 business units in hand, but not stopping here. We are building more partnership by expanding our portfolio with trust, innovation and contribution to society.

Construction sector has been playing a great role in Cambodia’s fast growing economy with between USD 3 to USD 4 billion worth of construction projects yearly and this sector will continue to grow due to vast urban and rural areas that are left to be developed. The prospect of economic growth of 7% until 2020(1) and the inadequate integrity and quality service available in this sector, provides a unique opportunity for CMED Construction Co., Ltd. (CMEDCC) to shape and play a leading role not just for the company’s profit but also for the greater benefit and advancement of the Cambodian society.
We, CMEDCC, aim to be the only one who is able to provide minute design solutions, strict construction process control, and international product quality in the Cambodian construction market. We will raise the benchmark for this industry in Cambodia at par with our modern neighboring countries through our education programs, skills training, high quality and international professional services as a one-sourced company.
Our commitment “Build for the Best” is a win-win strategy for all stakeholders, which means we deliver only top quality construction, long lasting buildings with low maintenance cost, and high property values. We are confident that the success of delivering our commitment will in turn attract more international investment into Cambodia.
The destiny of CMEDCC, a wholly-owned Cambodian company, lies within the well-being of a broader Cambodian society. We pay utmost importance to train and educate all the young and upcoming Cambodians under our employment in the field of design and construction.
